Over the past twenty-one years, the Autism Society of Northern Virginia Autism Walk has grown from a small venture to a large annual event that attracts over hundreds of participants. This family-friendly event features entertainment, food, raffle exhibitors, family walk, Resource Fair, and a Kids Zone. 
 
The Resource Fair will present dozens of organizations, including autism service providers and local businesses. The event concludes with our Awards & Raffle Ceremony. All funds raised from this event provide much needed support for individuals with autism and their families in Northern Virginia.

If you are unable to pick up your packet before the walk, you may do so onsite before the race at the Registration and Information Tent.

Event Schedule

9:00am - ASNV Family Funfest Begins: Food Trucks, Resource Fair, and Kids Zone opens

9:40am - Opening Ceremonies

10:00am - Walk Begins

11:30am - Raffle & Awards Ceremony

12:00am - ASNV Family Funfest ends

What to Expect

Kid's Zone

The Kid's Zone will offer lots of fun activities for kids! Starting at 9:00 am, the Kid's Zone will feature a bounce slide, bubbles, temporary tattoos, costumed characters, princesses, and much more!

Sensory Tent/Quiet Area

Any guest seeking a quiet place may come to the Sensory Tent at any time throughout the day, located in near the Resource Fair. 

Photo Booth

Be sure to stop by the Photo Booth and commemorate the day! There will be fun props, and you can take the pictures home with you to keep!

Resource Fair

Please take time to visit our many sponsors and community partners who will be onsite all morning sharing information on their programs and services

VIP Areas

  • There are two VIP opportunities for our top tier fundraising teams: VIP Parking and VIP Tents.

  • Teams who raise $2,500 or more will receive VIP Parking for their team captain. We will email you details for how to access VIP parking.

  • Teams who raise $5,000 or more will recieve a VIP Tent (on top of VIP parking for their team captain) to enjoy during the event! Be sure to bring items to decorate your tent and invite your team members.

Food & Beverage

Food will be available for sale. Complimentary water will be available on the course and in the Resource Fair area. Complimentary snacks will be available at the finish line.

Awards & Raffle

Opening ceremonies will be held before the race at 9:40am to share opening remarks. Around 11:30am, we'll gather in the gym again to award our top teams and raffle winners!
