Volunteers are the heart of Wineglass events and we’d love for you to be one of them!
Whether you’re part of a community group, corporate team, or signing up solo, there’s a role for everyone. Over 2,000 volunteers are needed every year. No matter where you serve, you’ll help create an unforgettable experience for runners and visitors from across the country.

EXPO
Located at the Corning Museum of Glass, volunteers check runners in and hand out critical race day items including their racing bib and clear gear bags.
FRI 10/2 SAT 10/3
5K SUPPORT
Located at the Corning Painted Post High School, volunteers assist with bib pick-up, course support, and handing out finisher medals.
SATURDAY 10/3
FOOD TENT
Located at the finish line, volunteers distribute food and beverages to our hungry finishers.
SUNDAY 10/4
RUNNER REWARDS
Located at the finish line, volunteers hand out medals to our full and half marathon finishers.
SUNDAY 10/4
SECURITY
Volunteers patrol Market Street and the finish line area, keeping runners on and spectators off of the course.
SUNDAY 10/4
BIKE SUPPORT
Volunteers bike alongside our full and half marathon runners, providing support as needed. This position requires a code to register.
