Women's Only 5K Walk & Run

 

 

No dogs or other animals are allowed at the event for both racer and pet safety.

While we love our animal friends, this event is very crowded and even the most outgoing pet can become overwhelmed by the throngs of people and the noise. This event is held near a major highway. We certainly don't want them to get scared and run away. In addition, we don't want to risk exposing your pet to human foods that might be available at the event which could unknowingly pose a risk of poisoning or intestinal obstruction in our fur friends.

Lastly, we want to be respectful of those who may be allergic or fearful of animals so that everyone can feel safe and comfortable.
