WHEN IS THE LITTLE STEPS, BIG DREAMS RACE?

WHEN IS THE LAST DAY TO REGISTER?
To make our race as seamless as possible, the last day to register will be September 21 at 3 PM. However, register before August 22 to be guaranteed a race shirt.
 
WHERE CAN I FIND RESULTS AND PHOTOS?
Results and photos will be available on our website and social media immediately after the event. Bell Lap Productions will be in charge of all results and timing.
 
WHEN DOES THE RACE START? WHAT IS THE LOCATION OF THE START LINE?
The Kids Dash starts at 8:00 AM, the 10k starts at 8:30 AM, and the 5k starts at 8:40 AM. The starting and ending locations of the 5K, 10K and Kids Dash will be in the Farm 12 Festival Barn Courtyard. Runners and walkers of the 5K and 10K will head out of the site and through Van Lierop Park, eventually turning left and onto the Foothills Trail.
 
WHERE CAN I PICK UP MY RACE BIB AND PACKET?

Packet pick up will be on Thursday, Sept 19 from 9 AM - 6 PM. There will be no packet pick-up on the day of the race, so please plan accordingly.

YES! Visit our race website or email janeltobar@stepbystepfamily.org for more information on fundraising for Step By Step.
 
I SIGNED UP FOR THE 10K, CAN I SWITCH TO THE 5K?
Yes, you can switch from the 10K to the 5K. Email us at littlestepsbigdreams@stepbystepfamily.org if you would like to switch events. 
 
I SIGNED UP FOR THE 5K, CAN I SWITCH TO THE 10K?
Yes, you will have to pay the additional fee at the time you switch. Email us at littlestepsbigdreams@stepbystepfamily.org if you would like to switch events.
 
DO I NEED TO PAY FOR MY CHILDREN TO RUN WITH ME?
We are a charity, so anything you contribute helps us further our mission. Children 6 and under can participate in the Kids Dash for $10 (parent must be present) and includes a kid's shirt. 
 
CAN I GET A REFUND OR DEFER MY REGISTRATION?
For various reasons, we cannot offer any form of refund or transfer. 
 
HOW MUCH ARE THE ENTRY FEES?
We have special early bird pricing! Through May 31, registration is $35 for both the 5K and 10K. After June 1, the price increases by $10. Children ages 6 and under can participate in the Kids Dash for $10. Kids ages 6-12 can participate in the 5K or the 10K for $20.
Pricing schedule: 
  • Through May 31, $35
  • June 1 - August 22, $45
  • August 23 - September 21, $55
 
HEADPHONES, STROLLERS, DOGS…ARE THEY ALLOWED?
This is a family-friendly event! If you’d like to run with your children, dogs or headphones, please do so! However, please be mindful of the other participants and respect our volunteers to ensure a safe and enjoyable race for everyone. If you bring your stroller, dress it up! 
 
CAN I WALK?
Absolutely! Our celebration starts at 10:00 AM for all participants and the event will conclude just after the celebrations. To be recognized as an official finisher in the results, you must cross the finish line timing mats by 10:00 AM.
 
IS THERE FOOD AVAILABLE AFTER THE RACE?
Yes, specific details to come soon!
 
IS MY ENTRY FEE TAX-DEDUCTIBLE SINCE YOU ARE A CHARITY?
The IRS does not permit us to count entry fees as donations. However, any donations made along with your registration or in addition to it through our fundraising portal are fully tax-deductible. Step By Step Family Support Center is a registered 501(c)(3).
