About REACH GREEN
Right now, the climate action movement isn’t growing fast enough. Many people care but feel overwhelmed, unsure what to do, or hesitant to engage with something that feels too political or complex. In fact, 72 % of Americans believe climate change IS affecting their communities, yet most don’t know how to meaningfully contribute. They’re not scientists or policy experts, they’re runners, cyclists, walkers, parents, and neighbors. They want to help but need clear, approachable ways to do so using what they already do every day.
REACH GREEN removes the barriers that keep people from taking action by starting with an audience that already feels the impact of green space loss: endurance and participatory athletes.
These individuals run, ride, walk, and have a long history of showing up and raising funds for causes they believe in. They invite others to support their efforts and form strong community networks. By aligning their movement with measurable outcomes, REACH GREEN makes climate action personal, relevant, and achievable.
REACH GREEN connects that passion for movement to a tangible cause. We raise funds and direct them to trusted partners doing the work on the ground, starting with the Arbor Day Foundation, our first partner, which is leading longleaf pine restoration in North Carolina to restore critical landscapes and support community resilience.
By turning everyday miles into funding for green space preservation, restoration, and creation, we give people a meaningful role in environmental action without asking them to change who they are. This is the starting point for a broader movement that will grow over time and bring new audiences into the climate action space.

What We Stand For
At REACH GREEN, we believe everyone should have access to safe, vibrant outdoor spaces, the places where we move, connect, and feel alive. We turn that belief into action. Through year-round challenges, education, events, fundraising, and local partnerships, we protect green spaces and strengthen climate resilience.
Together, we make sure every step, mile, and moment outside builds stronger, healthier communities, now and for the future.
This challenge is your chance to take part in that movement, to turn your miles into lasting impact where it’s needed most. Join us by participating in the Challenge. If you don't want to participate, but want to donate, go to http://www.reachgreen.org
