Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What time does the race begin?
A. The race will start at 4:30pm on February 28, 2026. You should plan to arrive at the Brewery at least 30 minutes before the start time.
Q. When is packet pickup? Is there early packet pickup?
A. Race bibs can be picked up at the brewery/starting line between 1:30pm and 4:15pm on race day. There is no early packet pickup currently planned. This may change based on registration numbers. Check back in closer to race day!
Q. Are there awards?
A. There will be overall awards for top three and medals for the top three M/F in the following age groups: 14 & Under, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85+
Q. Can I register on race day? Do you accept credit cards at packet pick up and/or on race day?
A. Yes, but all registrations are done online and may be done using a personal phone at packet pickup and on race day. The system updates immediately and we will be able to then check you in.
Q. Are baby joggers/strollers allowed? Do kids in joggers/strollers need to be registered for the 5K?
A. Yes, but please be aware and stay clear of other runners. Young kids in joggers/strollers do not need to be registered for the 5K.
Q. Where do I park?
A. The Mt. Baldy Brewery is in a large industrial park with a decent amount of parking. If the lots fill up we would encourage you to park on Dewey or Airport Drive or over at the College Business Park. Again, do not park at Cable Airport!
Q. What is the course like?
A. The map below will give you a rough idea of the 5k course, which is essentially a counterclockwise loop of the airport. It is generally flat and fast, but there are number of twists and turns around the hangers (not pictured in the map). The course will be well marked and there will be people out there pointing you in the right direction!
Q. Are there any water stops?
A. There will be one water station out on the course around the halfway point.
