Why should I pick up early?

Picking up your race packet early allows for an easier morning for everyone, and let's you sleep in a little. PLUS it allows for you to be entered to win a $50 Fit2Run Gift Card! You will automatically be entered when you pick up your packet early. The winner will be announced at the awards ceremony at the post-race party.

Can Someone Else Pick-Up My Race Packet?

Yes! Please provide the individual picking up your race packet with your information, but most importantly, your permission to do so. Once a race packet has been picked up for an individual, we cannot replace hats or food and beverage tickets.

I'm Running Virtually, do I pick up my packet in person? 

No need! Your packet will be mailed directly to your home.

Race Day Info

Event Parking

On race day, there will be parking along the Riverfront Blvd, as well as in the Public Parking lot in front of Mattison's Riverwalk. Parking is first come first serve.

Please note, we are not liable for any towing or fines that may occur from any parking or related activities. Park at your own risk. Please follow the signage in parking lots placed there by the owning entities.

Start/Finish Location

The start and finish will be located in Regatta Plaza. All vendors and awards will also be there.

Post Race Party

Join us after the race for Travelin' Tom's Coffee, Kona Ice, LMNT Hydration, and watermelon! Runners will be treated to one coffee or Kona Ice for free, but more are available for purchase! Make sure to talk to all of our other vendors as well, such as Brooks Running, Hale Law, and more!

Awards

All awards, including the Fit2Run Gift Card, will be announced at the post race party.

Please make sure to listen to the DJ and all Fit2Time, Fit2Run, or Big Bill Foundation staff. Your safety is paramount to us, and listening to these team members will keep you and others safe.

Race Day FAQs

Is there Race Day Packet Pickup?

Yes! Please come to the Big Bill Foundation registration/packet pickup tent between 7 AM and 8 AM to pick up your packet.

Can Someone Else Pick-Up My Race Packet?

Yes! Please provide the individual picking up your race packet with your information, but most importantly, your permission to do so. Once a race packet has been picked up for an individual, we cannot give another hat if one was ordered.

Are Dogs/Strollers Allowed?

Yes! If you have a dog or a stroller, please start in the back of the start corral. Children in strollers do not need to be registered, but must remain in their stroller for the entirety of the race. Dogs must remain on their leash at all times.

My Child is Signed Up For The 5K, Can They Run the Kids Dash?

Yes! But if they are only signed up for the Kids Dash, you would need to purchase a registration for them to do the 5K.

I signed up for the 1-Mile but want to run the 5K. What should I do?

The timed 5K has a price differential which must be paid to participate in the 5K. Please discuss this with a Fit2Time or Big Bill Foundation team member at the Registration tent. If you want to switch to the 1-Mile, you will not be able to receive a refund, but it will be considered a donation to the Big Bill Foundation, and we truly thank you!

What Do I Do If I Misplace My Race Bib?

Please go directly to the Information Tent/Registration Tent and we will gladly cancel your misplaced bib number and issue you a new one.

I/my family member/my friend can no longer come or participate. Can I give the bib to someone else? Do I need to do anything?

If you are running the 5K and want to move the bib to someone else, please come to the registration tent so we can correctly input ages and genders for awards purposes, and to make it fair to everyone running. If it is for the 1-Mile or Kids Dash, we request that you do, unless the emergency contact is the same.

When are awards?

Awards will take place after the race once results are verified. Only 1st place will be awarded at this race for each gender and age group.

1st Male/Female in the following Age Groups (based on Chip Time):

9 & Under, 10-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Can someone sign up on Race Day?

If there is still room, absolutely! Please note that prices do increase on Race Day, so we recommend registering early!
