Johns Hopkins Children's Center "Miracles in Motion" 5K

In May of 2024 my family's lives were shook to its foundation and forever changed. My nephew and godson Santiago was diagnosed with leukemia. He was strong and always a fighter so we had lots of hope. But unfortunately what we thought was going to be a five year fight towards remission, was only a 5 day fight until we lost him forever. Santiago had suffered a major brain bleed from a complication of his leukemia. After having the hospital run every test we could, it was determined that Santiago would never recover. I am running this race in memory of him. I will always remember how strong he was and how he was a kid that always lived life at full throttle.
