Education is about more than getting a degree (though that matters); it is about being exposed to different viewpoints, learning about subjects you might never have thought about, and making connections with people you might never have known otherwise. The Collective for Orphan Care and Education works to provide access to education to children, youth, and young adults who would otherwise not have that option. While much of the money we raise from this 5k will go toward finishing the construction of the community library, I am raising money to put into our student sponsorship fund to ensure our currently sponsored students can finish their educations.
