Cudahy Classic

Location: Cudahy, WI

The Cudahy Classic is the Club’s (and Wisconsin's) longest continuous running event and celebrating its 61st year. The event is a perennial RRCA State Championship and runners of all kinds find the course to be fun and interesting.  The mix of road, Oak Leaf Trail and even some grass will keep the scenery senses alive. The ten mile event is two laps of the flat and fast course, with the smaller five mile event a nice complement for those not quite yet in shape for the longer distances.  Some of the world’s best runners have done this event in the past and you should too!  Awesome food and drink (picnic style) will await you upon your finish!

Strider Half

Location: Estabrook Park - Milwaukee WI

The Strider Half Marathon is our late summer Half Marathon.  The course starts and finishes in Estabrook Park at the beer garden.  The race features the cool shade of the Oak Leak Trail bike path for much of the course and finishes at the beer garden where we enjoy a great post-race party with breakfast, beverages, beer and music! This run falls perfectly into most marathon build up plans. 

This is a Prediction Run: All runners, regardless of speed have a chance to win a turkey! How do you do it? When you sign up, you will be asked to predict your race finish time. Enter your prediction, then run that time on race day. It's as easy as pie, or in this case turkey!

Awards: 25 participants in each event who finish closest to their predicted time will receive a full-sized turkey.  Limit one turkey per family. A total of 50 turkeys will be given away at the event! The number of turkeys awarded could be lowered if the number of registered runners is below 200. You must be present to win, we can not hold these frozen birds or deliver them.  

Special Rules: No watches or timing devices allowed. No splits will be given. No mile markers provided.

Strider PR

GOOD DAY to HAVE A PR!!!  A Pettit Race that is!

We're doing both a 5k distance and a One Hour run off-season mojo on a super fast track (Hint: no wind/no hills)

We are going to run as far as you can in one hour! Sure, you may wish to compete against the runner for you (and how much fun is that!) but you are also going to push yourself farther and faster than you ever have just because you know the clock is clicking...down!!!!

But wait -there is even a third option?!?!? We have a "virtual" outside running option. This is for the people that don't necessarily like running inside in circles but want to support the great causes associated with this race, want the cool Strider PR shirt, and want to enjoy the post run party.  

And we’re continuing the fun with a kids run of 1 lap around the track! this will take place immediately after the One Hour Run at approximately 10:10 am
