The RegShield insurance premium is 8.1% of the registration cost (including processing fees) with a minimum insurance premium of $2.99 for registrations up to $24.99 and a minimum of $3.99 for registrations from $25.00 to $49.23.
Premiums for registrations above $49.23 are 8.1%. Premiums in some states that apply surcharges may be slightly different.
