Your fundraising teammates are your TEAM! 

Participants can join from anywhere - Join Drink Local Drink Tap on Saturday, June 8th, 2024 in the Flats East Bank OR folks can run or walk right from their neighborhood and join in on the fun through social media!

Participating with others? Bring the whole office, the whole family, or a group of friends and neighbors to run or walk for water at the 11th Annual 4 Miles 4 Water! Drink Local Drink Tap is thrilled to be celebrating our tenth year hosting this incredible fundraiser for clean water. Each year we have been SO impressed by the incredible passion, enthusiasm, and friendly competition that our participants bring to 4 Miles 4 Water. Participating with a group of people is encouraged!

Whether you are a duo, a trio, or a team of 100+ runners, walkers, youth, and pups, we are happy to have you. The steps to create or join a team are now even simpler. We have merged our previous groups/teams sign-up steps with our fundraising steps so that you finish registering prepared to participate in every component of this event. 

 

Step 1: Start Your Registration 

Visit 4miles4water.org and click "Register" to begin the quick process. 

 

Step 2: You're Now An Individual Fundraiser!

During your registration for 4 Miles 4 Water, you will be automatically provided a unique individual fundraising page. Fundraising for 4 Miles 4 Water is optional, but we've provided everyone with the opportunity to help Drink Local Drink Tap grow our impact and spread awareness. This page is customizable, you determine your fundraising goal, and you can choose automatically link your fundraising page to a new Facebook fundraising page to make sharing it with your network even easier. 

HOT TIP: If you choose to link your fundraising page to a new Facebook fundraising page, all donations sent through Facebook will update in real-time on the 4 Miles 4 Water website. → CLICK HERE for instructions on how to link your individual fundraising page to Facebook.

 

Step 3:  Join or Create a Team Fundraiser 

Once you've reached the area in your registration that provides you with your individual fundraising page, at the bottom on the left it will ask you if you would like to join an existing fundraising team, and on the right, it will allow you to toggle on a switch to create a new fundraising team. If you're registering after someone invited you to 4 Miles 4 Water or from a referral registration link and you know they already have a team, click the drop-down list and search for their team name and then select it, and save the changes. Continue with your registration and you are good to go! 

If you're registering for 4 Miles 4 Water and you and you want to start your own team, toggle on the switch to create a new fundraising team and complete the questions provided. (Don't Panic! You can further customize your individual and team fundraisers after you've completed registration.)

Step 4:  Visit your Individual & Team Fundraising Pages 

Once you've completed your registration, visit your RunSignUp profile by clicking the circle on the top right of the page and click "Profile" in the drop-down menu.  Here you will see:

• Your Account Information 
• Your Upcoming Events "10th Annual 4 Miles 4 Water"
• Your Fundraising 
  • Individual Fundraising 
  • Team Fundraising
• Additional Account Settings 

 

Step 5:  Customize, Share, and More

You are fully registered! Now you can make modifications to your fundraising page to personalize it and link it to Facebook. You can invite your future teammate or peers to register for 4 Miles 4 Water by sharing your registration referral link. Once you get 10 people to register for this awesome event through your registration referral link, we will refund $29.99 from your $30.00 registration fee.
