Living Free is a nonprofit animal sanctuary that saves dogs and cats whose time is up at public shelters. If one of our rescued animals cannot find a loving home, they are free to live out their lives here at the sanctuary, in peace and with all the dignity they deserve. Located on 154 acres in the San Jacinto Mountains near Idyllwild, California, the property is home to our kennel-in-the-round, Give Life Park, catteries and protected open-air “catios”, breathtaking scenery, and wide open fields for the wild mustangs and rescued burros to run free.
