Description

Step Up for the Food Drive - Climbing Challenge is a fun competitive race which will help raise money for the COPA Food Drive (Part of the Give Back Campaign).

What is it? The race will be 10 minutes of climbing on the stair-stepper (located in the new Fitness Center). Tentatively scheduled for 9/26 from 11am-1pm.

Who Can Participate? Anyone (ConocoPhillips employees/contingent workers) can participate (all participants must sign the fitness center waiver prior to participating).

What's the registration fee? Climbers will need to donate at least $50.

How do I donate $50? Cash or Venmo donations are acceptable. All registration "fees" should be submitted by 9/20.

Participant Limit: First come, first serve. Due to time and equipment constraints in the facility, only first 15 participants are allowed to compete (a waitlist for participants will be maintained).

Fundraising: The climber names will be released prior to the challenge and non-participants can help the climber raise fund to win the "Money Maker" trophy. Climbers are responsible for keeping track of the pledge amounts and donors (Venmo or cash donations). An excel spreadsheet will be provided to each climber for record keeping (see attached). Venmo and cash amounts will be cross-referenced and verified prior to awarding the "person who raises the most funds" trophy. Deadline for funds/pledges is 9/27 11:59 pm.

Awards/Trophies: Two awards will be given to the competitors
1) Person who climbs the most floors (if there is a tie, stair count will be tiebreaker)
2) Person who raises the most funds.

Winners will be announced during the week of September 30th.
