General Information
Race Day will be a busy traffic day in Baltimore City, so be sure to budget extra time to park and get where you need to go.
Traffic will be heavy on southbound 83/President Street leading up to race time as vehicles from the north enter Baltimore City. If you are traveling from the north you may want to consider exiting 83 prior to Fayette Street to avoid backups.
There are plenty of parking garages in the area. You can book a parking spot in advance through SpotHero.
There are porta-potties at Power Plant Live! near the start and finish, and on the course at both water stops.
Yes, bag drop off is available at Power Plant Live!, which is located near both the start and finish. Bags will stay at Power Plant Live! and can be picked up post-race. Please limit your checked bag to the one drawstring bag provided at all packet pickups.

The Baltimore Women's Classic is a women-only race (the country's second oldest!). Men may not participate in the race and men who are on the course will be asked to move to the sidewalk off the official course, but they are welcome to cheer for the women in their lives or volunteer!
To register to volunteer please click the Volunteer link at the top of the runsignup.com BWC race page. For more information about volunteering please email events@charmcityrun.com.
Children (girls) who are able to walk/run the 5K may participate—just sign them up accordingly, and a guardian over 18 must sign the waiver. Jogging strollers are welcome!

Start Line
The Baltimore Women's Classic starts at 7:30AM.
The race begins near the intersection of Water Street and S Gay Street, just west of Power Plant Live!
Yes, there are 4 starting corrals, based on the expected finish time you entered during registration. A letter on the front of your bib will designate the corral to which you have been assigned.
The first corral will begin at 7:30AM, and the others will start shortly thereafter.
Feel free to move back to a later corral (ex. A to B), but please do not move to an earlier corral.
If your training is going well and you expect to finish faster than the time you originally said in registration, speak with our staff at packet pickup.
Course
A map of the course can be found on the race website: Baltimore Women's Classic Course
An interactive course map with elevation can also be found here: Interactive Course Map
The course time limit is 1 hour and 30 minutes (calculated from the time your wave crosses the start line). This is a 28 minute per mile pace, which is very walker friendly!
Yes, there are two water stations! The first is at approximately 1 mile and the second is at approximately 2.3 miles. Please thank the volunteers staffing those stations as you pass!
Each water station will also have 2 porta-potties.
Although we love dogs, they are not allowed on the race course.
Jogging strollers are welcome - please start at the back of your corral and be mindful of runners who need to pass you. You do not need to register your child who will be riding in a stroller, but they will not receive the race amenities - shirt, medal, etc.
Headphones or earbuds are allowed but we ask that you either use open ear headphones (like Shokz which you can purchase at Charm City Run :)). If you use other headphones, please keep the volume low so you can hear all course directions from course marshals.
The course is measured for a 5K using the shortest possible path. Your watch may show a slightly longer distance as you weave around other runners, moving to stop at a water station, or take a longer curve around a turn.
Finish/Post-Race Party
The finish line is located at Power Plant Live! on Market Place just north of Lombard Street.
The post-race party is located at Power Plant Live!
