EVENT PARKING:
Participants are encouraged to arrive early and factor in traffic to ensure they make it to the start line on time. There is ample paid parking next to Muscle Beach and a second parking lot near the pier. Free public parking available in the neighboring streets. Paid parking is available on a first come first serve basis.
Volunteers: Drop-off is located near Muscle Beach at 17th Place. You will need to pay for parking if you wish to stay inside the parking lot area.

🐾 Rules for Pet Owners
To ensure a safe and "pawsome" experience for everyone on the boardwalk, please follow these guidelines:
- •One Dog Per Human: Only one dog is allowed per registered walker/runner. (2 Dogs buying Duo Package)
- •Age Requirement: The person holding the leash must be 18 years or older. Children are welcome to walk along, but for safety, they may not hold the leash.
- •Behavior: Dogs must be well-behaved and non-aggressive toward people and other dogs.
- •Leash Policy: Dogs must be on a leash at all times. No exceptions. Leashes must be a fixed length of 4 feet or less. No retractable/extendable leashes allowed.
- •Vaccinations: Dogs must be current on all required vaccines. Please do not bring puppies who have not yet completed their full vaccination series.
- •Clean Up: Be a good neighbor! Please pick up after your pet. We will provide extra poop bags and trash cans along the route.
- •Safety First: If your dog's breed or health makes a 5K difficult, please consider their well-being before registering. For small dogs, we recommend carrying them or using a pet stroller in crowded areas.
- •Note to Parents: Even the best-behaved pets can get startled. Please remind children to ask permission before petting any dog. All dog interactions are at your own risk; the organizers are not liable for dog-related incidents.

Award Eligibility & Prize Claim Policy
By registering for this event, I acknowledge and agree to the following rules regarding race awards and prize eligibility:
Dog Runner Category Requirement
Participants registered in any “Runner with Dog” category must complete the race with their dog. Participants who start or finish the race without their dog, or who do not run with their dog throughout the event, will be disqualified from award consideration in that category.Award Verification Requirement
Participants selected for awards in a dog-related category must present themselves at the awards ceremony with the same dog used during the race. Failure to do so may result in disqualification from award eligibility.Prize Claim Requirement
Awards and prizes must be claimed in person by the registered participant. Friends, family members, coworkers, or other representatives may not claim awards or prizes on behalf of a participant.Must Be Present to Win
Participants must be present during the awards ceremony to receive awards and prizes. If a participant leaves before awards are announced or does not respond when called, the award and any associated prize may be forfeited and awarded to the next eligible participant.

NO REFUND POLICY: All registration fees are non-refundable.
Making Changes:
If an emergency arises and you cannot attend the in-person event at Venice Beach, you can:
- Transfer your Registration: You may transfer your spot to another participant.
Important Note: Transfers and changes must be completed by May 15th, 2026. After this date, no changes, transfers, or deferrals will be allowed under any circumstances.
