Sun September 15, 2024 Washington, DC 20418 US Directions

DC 5K

The District's best race has a new distance. We are excited to announce the addition of the DC Half 5K, one more distance to give you one less excuse to not miss the excitement of race weekend.
All 5K runners will receive a medal, race shirt, and be able to enjoy the post-race festivities. Registration is NOW OPEN. Entries will be limited to 1,000 runners so grab your spot now!

RACE START:

The 2024 DCH 5K start for all runners is 7:40 A.M.  The 5K course will start at the same location as the DC Half Marathon & Relay, on Ohio Dr SW close to the intersection with West Basin Dr.  Plan to be in the start corral area and ready to run by no later than 7:25 AM.    Self-seeding, placing yourself in the start area by your predicted pacer per mile, will ensure that all runners can confidently begin their race.   The timing area will have a hard close at 7:55 AM for start data capture.  Any runners who do not cross the start mat by then will not be able to receive a finish time for their race.
