Vet Fest was created by Delawareans who are motivated by the 22in22 movement that encourages people to run or walk 22 miles in 22 days to highlight the epidemic of military related suicides.  

Every day nearly 22 of our warriors succumb to the silent wounds that few of us can understand.  In response, Vet Fest was created to demonstrate our passion for supporting the military and first responder communities and especially our combat veterans.  This day is filled with music, food, laughter and community.  Proceeds from this event go directly to support Stop Soldier Suicide, Inc., a 501c3 that works 1-on-1 with troops, veterans, and military family members to help navigate the maze of services, programs, and assistance available.
