The Lauren McCluskey Foundation was established to honor the life and spirit of Lauren McCluskey. Our mission is to change the culture that responds poorly to relationship violence and stalking on campuses. We aim to make campuses across the country safer and more supportive environments where students can thrive.
Our dedicated team is committed to advocating for these causes and implementing targeted programs to create lasting change in Lauren’s memory. By working together, we aim to transform how campuses address and respond to relationship violence. Our programs include:
<ul><li>Developing a <a href="https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/education/2023/11/13/campus-safety-lauren-mccluskey-foundation/71567057007/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">campus safety score</a></li><li>Expanding our Lauren&#39;s Promise pledge: &#34;I will listen and believe you, if you are being threatened.&#34;</li><li><a href="https://www.espn.com/espn/feature/story/_/id/34212123/university-utah-athlete-lauren-mccluskey-death-institutional-failure" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">ESPN LISTEN&#43; Screenings</a>, educating students and faculty on the importance of response</li><li>Free self-defense trainings</li><li>Trauma-informed police trainings</li><li>Awareness memorial walks, galas, and races</li><li>Supporting amateur athletics</li><li><a href="https://laurenmccluskey.org/about/news/betterhelp-and-the-lauren-mccluskey-foundation-partner-to-provide-free-therapy/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Free online virtual therapy</a> with a licensed BetterHelp counselor for victims and survivor</li></ul>

If you&#39;re participating in the Race for Campus Safety, we encourage you to take it a step further: run in honor of someone, share Lauren’s story, or start your own fundraiser. Whether you raise $50 or $500, every dollar helps us expand our programs, reach more campuses, and improve the response to relationship violence and stalking.
