On May 28, 2022, my brother-in-law, Dan, lost his battle with Glioblastoma (GBM). He was 46 and left behind an amazing wife and three beautiful young children. Dan was an active and healthy man. His death at such a young age left a big void in many lives.
Glioblastoma affects approximately 13,000 to 15,000 people each year in the U.S. GBM is the most aggressive type of tumor that occurs in the brain and is one of the most lethal forms of brain cancer. This rare form of cancer does not have as much research funding as others.
Brain tumors are relentless. There is no prevention, early detection, and few treatments. And for brain cancer, there is no cure.
We will be raising funds for the American Brain Tumor Association (ABTA). Please help us with our fundraising efforts by sponsoring to help find a cure or treatment for this devastating illness and brain cancer so no more families suffer this fate.
