Hey Holiday Hustlers!
We are happy to announce that this year's event will be raising money for Breaking Away; a non profit in Grundy County that helps victims of domestic violence break away from their abusers. They provide shelter, clothing, food, transportation and any necessities to the victims.
Domestic violence is something that most of us don't think about and would never guess someone is going through it. Breaking Away is a discreet organization that is willing to go above and beyond to help anyone in need.
Last year, the Holiday Hustle was able to raise a little over $13,000 and we are looking to top that this year! The money that goes directly to the charity is from multiple things we do leading up to race day. All race sign ups, sponsorship donations, raffle ticket sales, and monetary donations will ALL GO TO BREAKING AWAY. Holiday Hustle does NOT keep any of the money.
