Buddy Bags provides weekend bags of food to local students who participate in the free lunch program. Each bag contains simple, single-serving meals and snacks to be used over the weekend. Studies have shown that students who are not well nourished over the weekend return to school on Monday unprepared to do their best. This program currently serves 20 local schools and over 800 children.
Emberly's Smiles provides adaptive equipment to playgrounds so children with special needs will have accessible parks in their community/ The goal is for all children to be able to play & feel included with everyone else.
Youth For Christ NWI sponsors Campus Life , a program that meets kids where they are. We strive to build relationships through a weekly meeting in the schools, through one-on-one mentoring, trips, and service projects. Juvenile Justice Ministry (JJM) is a program that mentors incarcerated youth. We strive to respond with centered programs that encourage conversation and build capacity for success in kids.
