6:30 am – Registration/Sign In.
7:20 am – National Anthem & Remarks
7:30 am – Half Marathon starts
7:45 am – 10K starts
8:00 am – 5K starts
Race Awards after the last finishers of the 5Ks & 10Ks. We will do a “rolling” awards ceremony for the Half marathon as the results come in.
Awards for Top Overall, Top Master (40+), Clydesdale (Men 210+ lbs), Athena (Women 170+ lbs), Top Three finishers in each age group. Age divisions: 0-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+.
Course:
A chip start for the Half, 10K & 5K (you will cross mats at start & finish), timed race on the streets of scenic Crown Point, IN All races are an out and back course. Starts and finishes in Lake Co. Fairgrounds.
3 1/2 hour time limit for Half marathon (16:00 min pace). After 3 1/2 hours, the timing system goes away and you will NOT receive a time. If you cannot keep that pace, please do the 10K as we will need to re-open the streets.
