The Official Course Route: Trail-Blazing & High-Energy!
Get ready for an upgraded race day experience at the Granite Bay 5 & 10K! This year, we’ve redesigned the route to bring more energy, beautiful scenery, and a true taste of our gorgeous local surroundings. Here is a sneak peek at the journey your feet will take:
The High-Energy Launch The excitement begins right Front & Center at Granite Bay High School, our brand-new official race hub! Both the Start and Finish lines are now positioned at the front of the school, creating an incredible, central festival atmosphere. Spectators will have the ultimate vantage point to cheer you on as you blast off the line and head out onto the course.
Heading Down Elmhurst & The Treelake Loop After leaving the high school campus, the course takes you down Elmhurst Dr before routing runners through the beautiful, scenic neighborhoods of Granite Bay. You'll wind past local landmarks along Treelake Rd, Dickens Dr, and Richford Ln, soaking in the community vibes and local support.
Into the Wild: The Scenic Trail Escape This is where the magic happens! We are maximizing our gorgeous surroundings by steering the course off the main roads and directly into the stunning local trail systems. You’ll loop down toward Treelake Storage and transition onto peaceful, nature-filled paths. Run along the scenic greenbelt trails, winding past the water features near Waterbury Way, and enjoy a pristine, shaded escape that showcases the absolute best of Granite Bay's natural landscape.
The Ridgeview Return & Grand Finale Finish Emerging from the trails near Ronald L. Feist Park and Oakhills Star, you’ll head back toward the campus loop. As you approach the 3.09-mile mark, you’ll make your final turn back to the front of Granite Bay High School. Get ready to hit the home stretch through a tunnel of cheering spectators, music, and celebration as you cross the finish line right where you started!
