Event: 1 Mile Swim
Lake Abiquiu is the beautiful backdrop for an Open Water Swim. The 1.1 Mile Loop will begin at the beach just to the right of Abiquiu Boat Ramp. Swimmers will enter the water from the beach, and hug the shoreline, enter into the cove, swim around the buoy keeping it to your left, and back out into the main lake to the right, and around a big pink buoy, swimming a straight line back to shore, and the finish.
The estimated water temperatures will be between 65 and 75 degrees, the swim will be wetsuit optional.
