Weather: We will run regardless of the weather! Rain, snow, sleet or shine, unless the Allegheny County Police determine the conditions are unsafe and prohibit us from starting. (That is unlikely to occur, so be ready to go!)
Parking: No parking along Pierce Mill Road, except in designated parking lots! The police will have cars that are illegally parked towed. Parking will be available at the Boathouse parking lot. This lot will close at 9am!!! Cars that are parked in the Boathouse parking lot will not be permitted to leave until the last runner/walker crosses the finish line. Parking is also available at the Spillway (Babcock Blvd.), Ice Skating Rink, Pool and in designated areas on Pierce Mill Road. You may want to consider carpooling.
Directions: Start and Finish will be in the Boathouse parking lot. The Boathouse in located on Pierce Mill Road in Allison Park, Pa in North Park. From I-79, get off at the Wexford/910 Exit (North of Pittsburgh). Follow Route 910 East about 4 miles to the entrance to North Park located on Pierce Mill Road. The Boathouse is approximately 1.5 miles down Pierce Mill Road on the right. Same day registration and awards will both take place in the upper level of the Boathouse.
