Valentine's Day 5k

Follow your heart and "Run For A Reason" at the Valentine's Day 5k. 

Event Start Location- Boathouse North Park

Start Time: 10:00 am

Same Day Registration: 8:00am-9:45am

Pre-Packet Pick up: Panera Bread Company, Wexford PA 15090 on 2/10/2012 from 530-7pm

Same Day Packet Pick up: 8am-945am Boathouse

Pre-Event Packet Pick Up:  2/10/2012 @ Panera Bread Company in Wexford from 530-700pm. 
 
Same Day Packet Pick UP: 2/11/2012 @ Boathouse (North Park) from 8am-9:45am.
 
Race Start Times: Both races are set to kick off at 10:00.  (Please make sure you are in the correct group as the 5k & 5 Mile will depart in two different directions!)  There will be an announcement.
 
Turn Around Point for 5k:  Kulich Grove on Lake Shore (Water Stop)
 
Same Day Registration: 8am-9:45am Boathouse
 
Parking: Rose Barn parking lot and other clearly marked areas.  No parking at the Boathouse! 
 
Pre-race food: Panera bagels, and coffee, water, Gatorade (Boathouse)
 
Post-race awards, Chinese Raffle & Food:  We decided to rent Rose Barn in the event we finally get snow.  We wanted to be certain you had shelter.  Food will consist of hot soup, hot dogs (beef) , Eat n Park Smiley Cookies, Hot Chocolate, Coffee and H2O.
 
Chinese Raffle Tickets: 1-$1.00, 10-$5.00 and 25-$10.00...Lots of great baskets have been donated from Local Businesses.

Course Layout: Elite Runners & Walkers will furnish the courses.  (Both are certified by USATF)
 
General Raffle:  Each and every runner will be eligible to enter to win one of our 19 General Raffle Prizes.  Make sure you enter your ticket in the General Raffle.  You will receive a ticket when you pick up your packet.
 
Restrooms:  Boathouse & Rose Barn
 
Other Upcoming Events:  Dick's Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon (We still have plenty of bibs and space for those who'd like to transfer to a charity bib) and Highmark Walk For A Healthy Community Campaign (Our first year as an affiliate Charity and we are looking for walkers to support us there.)
 
100% of the proceeds raised from our events support the mission of our organization and the RSG1 Brain Fund at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.  Our organization is solely operated by the efforts of volunteers and we have NO paid employees.
