Adalyn Rose Foundation's 2025 Empty Stroller Run & Walk

Join us in honoring loss families and their babies at our Sixth Annual Empty Stroller Run & Walk in Reading, PA.

Like last year, our Remembrance Walk will follow the timed 5K and 10K races. Participants may choose to walk either 1 mile or a full 5K. All 5K and 10K runners are invited to join the walk after their race at no additional cost.

Many participants run or walk with empty strollers to symbolize the babies we carry in our hearts—but this is not required to participate.

This year, registration for our race participants will open at 8:30 AM, and our 5K and 10K races will begin at 9:30 AM, followed by our Empty Stroller Remembrance Walk at 11:00 AM. AWARDS: Exclusive Adalyn Rose Trophies for 1st place overall for the Men's and Women's divisions in the 5K and 10. Age-group awards will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the following age groups: 10-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. An additional Adalyn Rose award will be given to the overall first-place finisher of the 5K and 10K who completes the race with a stroller. The 5K and 10K will start at the same starting line and be chip-timed through 2L Race Services.

All registration fees, swag sales, and donations will be used to assist families who have experienced the loss of a baby during pregnancy, infancy, or early childhood. The Adalyn Rose Foundation helps families immediately in the hospital and all the following moments. We assist with burial and cremation costs, send customized care packages, and host events, couples workshops, and support groups for bereaved families.

Many of us will be running/walking with empty strollers to honor babies and spread awareness of pregnancy and infant loss. However, it is not a requirement of this event.

Children 14 and under are free, and their shirts can be purchased at check out.
