Wildrock Tree Hugger Run - 4.3 Mile Mountain Trail Loop
The race begins at Wildrock at 8:00am and winds into neighboring Patricia Byrom Forest Preserve. This is a steep, strenuous run that goes straight up and straight down. There are stream crossings, mountain views, and large boulders along the trail. Prizes will be awarded in ten year age brackets. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early.

Wildrock Tree Hugger Family Hike/Run - 1.3 Mile Mountain Trail Loop
The Tree Hugger Hike is on a 1.3 uphill trail. This hike is meant for families who would like to run or walk. This event is untimed. The trail is not recommended for strollers. Look for 20 trees marked with Hug Me Signs. A food truck lunch and Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream will be available. Wildrock's playscape will be open for after-race fun.
