Wildrock Tree Hugger Hike/Run Fundraiser

Wildrock's Tree Hugger Hike/Run on June 23rd begins with an 8:00am mountain trail run on a steep 4.3 loop that begins at Wildrock and winds into neighboring Patricia Byrom Forest Preserve. Prizes will be awarded for the following age brackets (19 and under, 20-29. 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and up). Please arrive by 7:45am. The cost per runner is $25. At 11:00am there will an untimed Family Tree Huggers Hike on a 1.3 mountain loop. Find all 20 trees with Hug Me signs! The cost is $25 per family. All funds support Wildrock's On Solid Ground Outreach Program providing therapeutic nature retreats with partner nonprofits.  The Magic Bowl food Truck and Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream will be available at noon following the race.  Wildrock's playscape will be open for post-race fun.  Space is limited.  Register early.
