Trail courses are designed for adventure and a safe return, which means distances might not always be perfectly round numbers - that’s just part of the fun!

  • Expect a mix of rolling terrain, winding paths, and nature’s unpredictability, making every race a unique experience.
  • Race routes may also be adjusted due to weather or other unavoidable conditions to ensure a safe and enjoyable run.

Strawberry Moon 3-Miler

🌕 Race #1 | Pine Hollow - CVNP

Tuesday, June 30 | 6:00pm

This picturesque 3-mile looped route takes runners through the Sound of Music Hills and around Kendall Lake, offering some of the most stunning views in the series. The first two miles follow cross-country trails, while the final two miles present a technical challenge with stair climbs, rocky terrain, and a few solid inclines—a true test for trail runners!

🌕 Race #2 –South Chagrin Reservation

Tuesday, July 28 | 6:00pm

Prepare for a rollercoaster of hills and elevation changes on this 4-mile out-and-back course starting and finishing at the Shelter House! The entire route follows the Bridle Path, winding through the scenic South Chagrin Reservation and delivering a true trail-running experience with its natural beauty and rolling terrain.

🌕 Race #3 – Rocky River Nature Center

Tuesday, August 25 | 6:00pm

 The Nature Center is a scenic 3-mile course features the iconic Fort Hill stairs -155 steps up to a breathtaking view of the Rocky River at Mile 1. The race starts with a quarter-mile stretch on the road before transitioning to wide dirt trails, offering a mix of terrain to kick off the series.

🌕 Race #4 – South Mastick Picnic Area

Tuesday, September 29 | 6:00pm

The longest, yet smoothest route of the Series! Considered fast, flat, and smooth along the Bridle Path in Rocky River Reservation. With minimal elevation changes, this course is perfect for a strong finish - wrapped up with the cookout and awards ceremony!
