FAQs
All proceeds from the Hope Hustle support the Cure Breast Cancer Foundation’s mission to fund breast cancer research. Philanthropic support is essential to advancing promising science, improving treatments, and bringing us closer to a cure.
The Hope Hustle is more than a 5k. It is an opportunity for our entire community to help move breast cancer research forward. When participants fundraise, they invite friends, family, and colleagues to be part of the mission, allowing the event to have a far greater impact than registration fees alone.
Nope! Fundraising is amazing, but not required. Your registration fee helps us cover event costs, but your fundraising efforts amplify your impact.
You can create a fundraising page when you register for the 5K by selecting "Become a Fundraiser" on the donate page. You will be prompted to name your Fundraiser, set a fundraising goal, and add a message about why you are fundraising.
You can also create a fundraising page after registering by visiting your profile page on RunSignup and then selecting "Manage Registration". On the "Manage Registration" page, you can set up your fundraiser by going to the tab labeled "Fundraiser".
You can also create or join a fundraising team so multiple fundraisers can apply their donations toward a common goal.
Everyone's goal will be different, so set a goal that feels right for you. Also, don’t underestimate the power of a few small donations. Sharing your story and why you care about our cause will inspire others to give.
Yes! The Cure Breast Cancer Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and all donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Donors will receive a confirmation email with a receipt for their records.
