IAFF Fire Within 5K

We hope that you will join us for the second ever, bi-annual, FIRE WITHIN 5k!

January 27th, 2024, during the IAFF's Affiliate Leadership Training Summit (ALTS), the FIRE WITHIN 5K race will bring fire fighters and cancer fighters together in Orlando to support the partnership between the American Cancer Society and the International Association of Fire Fighters.

Cancer is the leading cause of line-of-duty death among fire fighters today. The collaboration between the IAFF and ACS provides resources, tools, and prevention techniques to help protect fire fighters, emergency medical and rescue workers with the hope of preventing future disease. 

Our race will run through the Disney properties surrounding the hotel and is open to both IAFF members and the general public. Participants will also be given a fundraising page where you are able to let your friends, family, and co-workers know you are running with us and that they can donate to support your efforts. Register today and encourage others to join your team as we run together to reduce cancer in the fire service. 

Can't make it to Orlando? Register with our remote option and then run a 5k in your own community. Remote participants who raise at least $100 will receive our event t-shirt in the mail!
