5k for Freedom (Woodbury)

Run with a purpose! Join us on Saturday, July 30 at Colby Lake Park in Woodbury (Valley Creek Rd entrance) for our first-annual 5k for Freedom! This event is for all runners, walkers, prancers, stroller-pushers, and anything in between for people of all ages. Thanks to donations from our generous sponsors, ALL proceeds from this event will be donated directly to Venture.org, a locally based nonprofit organization, and their tireless work in ending human trafficking, specifically in southeast Asia. 

Race fees:
o   Early registration (teen and adult) - $30
o   Day-of registration - $40
o   Kids fun-run - Free for all kids 10 and under (no pre-registration required)! 

Day-of schedule as follows:
o   8:30 – Check-in and late registration opens, sponsor area open
o   9:30 – Kids fun-run begins
o   9:50 – 5k rally
o   10:00 – 5k start
o   10:30 – food truck (Northwoods Smokehouse) opens
o   1:00 – event end

No finisher medals will be awarded at this event.
