CHS Athletic Boosters 5K Race & 1-mile Kids Fun Run

The 5k race course (2 Laps) is the same course that our High School Cross-Country team uses each year during the Fall sports season. Attached is a course map. We will go over the course the day of the event to ensure you are familiar with how it runs. To aid in your ability to navigate this GORGEOUS, grassy, gravel-laden, dirt-trail, and hilly layout, the entire course is marked with OHSAA Cross-Country flags (blue = straight ahead/stay the course; red = turn LEFT; yellow = turn RIGHT). In addition to a flagged course, there will also be course marshals placed throughout this two-lap course to make sure you know where you are going. If you care not to race/run, that is completely fine! Feel free to walk the course

Both races will have "Day-of" registration ($5.00 increase for each), but will not guarantee a T-Shirt. Pricing will be $25.00 (+2.50 service charge) for the 5k race and $10.00 for the 1-mile Kids Fun Run (+2.50 service charge). Every finisher will receive an award (see below for awards). If you sign up together as a family or with a group of friends, you can do so and only pay the $2.50 service charge one time. This saves you from having to fill out multiple online forms.

1-mile Kids Fun Run (11 and under): Top 3 Boy finishers receive the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place medal. Top 3 Girl finishers receive the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd medal. All other finishers will also receive a medal!

5k Race (12 and over): Top 3 male finishers receive the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place medal. Top 3 female finishers receive the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place medal. Age group winners for each male/female will also receive a small plaque (12-l5,16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+). All other finishers will also receive a medal!
