Join us for the Jefferson Parish Park 2 Park 10K, a unique running event to serve Jefferson Parish's culture, history, and community!
The 6.2-mile run/walk starts at LaSalle Park and finishes at Lafreniere Park, taking you on a scenic tour of our vibrant parish. Whether you're a seasoned runner, casual walker, or cheering from sidelines, this race is for you.
But wait, there's more! After you cross the finish line, get ready to party at the Lafreniere Bash. Enjoy live music, delicious local cuisine, and family-friendly activities, all while showcasing local businesses.

Event Highlights
- Community: Supporting local residents, businesses, and visitors alike
- Post Race Bash: A festive post race party featuring live music.
- Prize Money: Cash prizes for top 10K finishers and other awards!
- Race Swag: All registered participants receive commemorative shirt and finisher medal.
- Largest Team Competition
- Fundraisers and Donations: Raising funds and showcasing local charities
- The Parish Cup: It's a team style, Cross Country scored competition where teams across the region go head-to-head to earn a rotating trophy and bragging rights for the coming year. Participation is completely optional, but race registration is required to be scored.
Race Day Schedule
- 6:30 AM - Packet Pickup (Start Line - LaSalle Park)
- 7:30 AM - 10K Start
- 8:00 AM - Shuttle Buses Begin (Lafreneire to LaSalle)
- 8:30 AM - JP Bash
- 9:30 AM - Kids 1/2 Run - Lafreniere Park
- 9:45 AM - Award Ceremony (subject to change)
- 12:00 PM - Bicentennial Bash ends
- 1:00 PM - Final Shuttle Bus leaves from Lafreniere to LaSalle
