Key Race Day Logistics
Runners can pickup their bibs from South Jersey RunningCo in Haddonfield on Friday, 7/31 from 4-7PM or on race morning starting at 5:30AM under the main aid station tent.
Use 5300 N. Park Dr., Pennsauken, NJ 08109 for GPS and look for Lot 2.
There are parking lots located on either side of the track. Please do not use the parking lot where LaScala's Birria restaurant is located - this is for restaurant customers and playground goers.
Lot 2 parking lot is larger and only for Loopy Looper runners, crew, and volunteers. Please print the parking pass located the the athlete guide and place in your dashboard. All cars associated with the event must have this parking pass. This parking lot is going to be closed for our event only.
Street parking is also available all around the venue.
If you plan on bringing an RV/Camper Van/Transit Van, please park in the last row (closest to the water) and do NOT block any
parking lot traffic. You could probably also park on the street out front of the venue.
Yup!
The race will be chip timed, with chips on your bib and chips attached to your shoes. Timing will be managed by Mike Melton from MCM Timing and Results. He will have screens set up so you can see how many miles and laps you have run.
Runners will have the allotted time to run as many laps as they can of Cooper River. We will not be counting partial laps and only full laps.
If you plan on taking an extended break and leaving for any period of time, please notify the timer or race directors.

Runner Set-Up
No, there's no gear check. However, all runners can use the field as noted in the athlete guide as a pit area for you to stash your sutff.
At the start/finish area at the track, there is a field you can use as a pit area for you to stash your stuff for the day. NO TENT STAKES are NOT allowed. Please come prepared to weigh down tents.
You CAN stake into the ground in the section of grass under the trees against the path and ONLY there.
We ask that you do not bring tents larger than 10x10. Absolutely no open fits/fire pit and no propane heaters or cookers.
You can also use your car as your pit if you want to in the parking lot or street.
Be respectful and leave your space as you found it. There are trashcans at track. Please pack up your trash.
Relays
No, the relay team is only allowed to have 1 runner on course at a time, except for the last lap. You can run your last lap as a team (we recommend it!).
All teams will receive an ankle strap with a chip on it that you will be handing off each lap to the next runner. This chip MUST be on your ankle. Not your wrist, not in your pocket. We will not add laps for mishaps with the chip handoff. You should still wear your Loopy Looper bib in addition to the ankle chip.
The runner finishing the lap should cross the finish line, then hand off the ankle chip to the next runner in the relay team exchange zone (located directly after the arch), and the next runner should continue from there. Do not cross the start line to start your loop. Simply join the loop on the track and continue on from there.
Nope. Each member of the relay team must complete at least 1 lap each. But after that it's up to the team to decide who runs when and how many laps.
Nope. It's just not fair to the other runners.
