Ella Strong Triathlon - Canceled
Thank you all for the support and eagerness to participate in The Ella Strong Triathlon this year. After much deliberation we have made a tough decision to cancel the triathlon for 2020. As of now registration is disabled and refunds will be issued as soon as possible. For more information please refer to our Face Book page.

Description
Dearly loved by her big brother Easton, little sister Effy, baby brother Knox, and parents Jason and Leslie, Ella Armstrong left a lasting impression on all those who knew her. She was a kind hearted, loving, beautiful little girl, who squeezed every bit out of her short time on this earth. Ella had the biggest heart of any child you would meet. Ironically, that same heart failed her on July 16, 2015. As she was running, she collapsed and immediately entered the arms of her Father in Heaven. She left behind a family and community, hurting and struggling to make sense of this sudden tragedy.
What resulted was an amazing outpouring of love and support. That love was displayed last year when so many people came together and honored such an amazing young girl at a triathlon and left knowing what it meant to be #ellastrong.
On August 22, 2020, we will be celebrating the life of Ella once more with the 5th Annual Ella Strong Triathlon. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Ella Heart Strong Foundation.
Adult Courses
The adult race consist of 300 meters swimming, 9 miles of biking, and 3.1 miles of running. The courses will all be marked with signage indicating mileage and turns. Where applicable all routes will be staffed with police and/or volunteers.
Adult Swim Course
The adult swim course is a serpentine course consisting of 300 meters of swimming. Participants will enter the water on the north east side of the pool and swim two laps in each lane then change to the next lane.
Adult Bike Course
The adult bike course is a 9 mile route starting and ending at the Madison Healthplex and riding on Highland Colony Parkway.
Adult Run Course
The adult run course is a 5k route starting and ending at the Madison Healthplex and running on Highland Colony Parkway.
Kid Courses
The kids race consist of 150 meters swimming, 3 miles of biking, and 1 miles of running. The courses will all be marked with signage indicating mileage and turns. Where applicable all routes will be staffed with police and/or volunteers.
Kids Swim Course
The kids swim course is a serpentine course consisting of 150 meters of swimming. Participants will enter the water on the north east side of the pool and swim one lap in each lane then change to the next lane.
Kids Bike Course
The kids bike course is a 3 mile route starting and ending at the Madison Healthplex and riding on Highland Colony Parkway.
Kids Run Course
The kids run course is a 1 mile route starting and ending at the Madison Healthplex and running the entry road to the Madison Healthplex.
