Did you say POINT 5K? Drive-Thru?
Join your friends, coworkers, family members, and complete strangers for the “run” of a lifetime. Well, wait... COVID. Actually, we would prefer you stay in your car. For real, please stay in your car. You are going to drive all 546 yards to the finish line in a slow and orderly fashion, but it’s going to be FUN!
It's not an Unbeatable 0.5K without fun and food!
Events include picking up your awesome merch (for those who registered), enjoying a distanced drive-thru trunk or treat for both the kids and adults, fun prizes, and end your drive-thru by stopping at the food trucks to buy some fun food to go. Grannyweavs Soul Food, Say Cheese Gourmet Burgers, Cajun Sneaux and Snax and Nebraska's Best Kettlecorn will be serving up some good stuff. Only one registration per car required, so bring the whole gang along to enjoy the ride!
You were destined for this.
We know, you’re already worried and asking yourselves: “Can I do this? Will the superior athlete in me be able to stay in my car and not just jump out and run?" The answer is yes, you are ready to stay your car! We will carefully approach with all the precaution we possess, and throw the items into your car from a safe distance. Just kidding, we will wear gloves and a mask and hand them nicely to you through your window or put them in your trunk!
The best part is: 100% of proceeds go to charity!
Proceeds benefit the Autism Society of Nebraska, a statewide 501(c)3 non-profit with the mission of improving the lives of all Nebraskans affected by autism.
So what's holding you back? Let's do this thing!
Team Up!
Everything is better with friends! Create or join a team and participate with your friends and family. It’s a little bit complicated in 2020, but you can do it! We have ideas: Zoom with each other on your cell phones from your car, plan your caravan and line up before you get there, decorate your cars to match, use fun communication styles like smoke signals, bird calls, morse code with your headlights... you get it! Have some fun with it!
