Lake Lenape Triathlon Festival

Dear Lake Lenape Athletes, 

We regret to inform you that our Lake Lenape Festival & Triathlon scheduled for September 16 &17, 2022 at Lake Lenape West has been cancelled for this year. We made this difficult decision because of the delay in construction surrounding the lake and the change in location and format we are being asked to consider by the City of Mays Landing and Atlantic County.  While we would love to announce a date for 2023, there are ongoing talks about moving the race to Lake Lenape East.  What we can confirm is the event can no longer be held in July, so an early Fall date can be expected for 2023.  

We understand that this change may cause great inconvenience for you and are sincerely sorry.  We will issue a full refund for those that have already registered OR you're welcome to donate your race fee to Green Whales Inc. for our many swim programs.

Lake Lenape Triathlon Festival: 1 Festival, 2 Days, 10 Events

This grass roots triathlon started in 1990 with approximately 80 athletes and have hosted over 400 athletes some years.  This triathlon was designed for the beginner or novice in mind.  

However, many professionals have done the race, as have TV personalities including Cecily Tynan of Action News.  MTV producers of their show ‘Made’ also filmed an episode here at Lake Lenape Triathlon.  

The race has consistently delivered a professional product with its management, as well as its constantly improving all organizational aspects of the race.  We go the extra mile to close the roads to vehicular traffic to promote a safe race and make the race a better environment for our participants.  

In 2021, PR Racing joined forces Green Whales, Inc. to bring you all the races you know and love. This event will now be under the Green Whales, Inc. umbrella. Over the next few years, you will see all the races you've enjoyed with PR Racing being produced by Green Whales Racing part of Green Whales, Inc. Don't worry, you'll still see Sean at all the events!
