10K Run/Walk Course

  • You must have a bib visible on your front to participate.
  • You must be able to maintain an average pace of 16 minutes per mile to finish the 10K before the course is closed down. This will have you finish in 1 hour and 40 minutes or faster. 
  • 10K run/walk begins at 8:30am and is a net downhill course meaning that the finish line is 43 feet below the start line.
  • Please stay to the right on the course at all times to allow other runners to pass. Please don't walk or ride more than 2 abreast because that makes it difficult for others to pass you.
  • The route has a loop and a half on the road on top of the bluff and then goes down to the service road next to the sand where you will go past the finish line before returning to it.. There are two water stations that you will pass a total of four times at miles 0.75, 3.5, 4.5, and 6
  • The start line is 100 yards and then up the hill from the finish and registration.
  • From the start head South to Imperial (water station), Uturn then Nouth almost to Napolean, make a UTurn here and go back to Imperial (Water Station)
  • When you hit the water station for the 2nd time at Imperial, you will turn right into the beach, go down a hill, then past the festival, past the water station, to the Uturn.
  • Then South, past the water station and this time, turn in to the festival area and cross the finish line.
  • Turns will be marked with signs and cones.

5K Course

  • 5K run/walk begins at 8:40am and is a net downhill course meaning that the finish line is 43 feet below the start line.
  • Please stay to the right on the course at all times to allow other runners to pass. Please don't walkmore than 2 abreast because that makes it difficult for others to pass.
  • On the course there is a water station roughly half way, at the turn where you head downhill to the beach access road.
  • Turns will be marked with signs and cones.

1K Family Fun Race Course

 

  • All racers are required to wear a visible event bib on their front in order to participate. 
  • The 1k starts at 9:35am (time is approximate and depends on when the last 10K walkers are off)
  • The course is out and back. There will be staff and volunteers on course to ensure everyones safety and to keep an eye on any children who are running by themselves. 
  • This event is for ages 1 and up and include a race t-shirt and medal. This race is open to people of all abilities and generations of families running or walking together. This race will not be chip timed. Get ready for the photo opportunity!!
