Welcome to the registration page for the 20th Team AIMS Marathon Training Program (MTP).
Note - The registrations for the 2024 MTP are full. We have opened the Waitlist for interested runners to enter themselves at no cost to be the waiting list. However, it is not a guarantee that someone on the wait list will be picked for registering.
The Marathon is the ultimate road race. And the Marathon training journey is the ultimate running experience. Are you wondering about marathon and it's long distance? Maybe it’s always been on your bucket list. Maybe all your friends are signing up. But more important than why you’re running your marathon is how you’re going to prepare. Solid prep is the only route to an enjoyable, injury-free marathon debut. Luckily, we have the perfect guide to get you across the line – no matter your level right now. The training program is a beginner friendly and designed to help you train whether you're a runner/walker attempting your first endurance event or aiming for a new PR. In Team AIMS, we think sharing the training journey with friends working to achieve a common goal is the best part and makes every run more fun! We'll help you achieve your goal safely by a gradual and strategic increase in your training mileage. We give instructions on proper hydration, nutrition, injury prevention, running form, training principles, as well as other areas to help you have a successful race. We have over 15 experienced RRCA Certified Endurance Coaches who will support you and keep you motivated!
If the full marathon may seem too much for you for now, see our half-marathon or 10-miler training programs for getting you prepared for the smaller distances, after which, you may want to pick up your marathon training later. Again, it is the running experience & lifestyle than just one event.

Prerequisites
Runners of all experience levels are welcome. However, we want to emphasize on considering your medical history and being cleared by your physician before joining this training program or event. If you ever had a medical condition that could get worsened by running, please do consult with your doctor first. Runners should be knowledgeable about the stress effects attendant to participation in running events. It is important for each entrant to recognize the potential physical and mental stresses, which may evolve from participation in these running events. Run, Train and Support
Team AIMS, a registered US 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, conducts MTP, Sofa to 5K, Winter Programs and running races every year. As we lace up for the 20th year of our Marathon Training Program (MTP), Team AIMS is more dedicated than ever to our mission of fostering a healthy lifestyle and supporting meaningful change worldwide. Our journey together extends beyond the miles we'll conquer; it's about the impact we'll make as a community united for a greater good.
Your Impact Through Fundraising: A Commitment to Change
This year, we're introducing an essential aspect of our collective journey: a minimum fundraising commitment of $500 per family. It's essential to set this commitment as mandatory rather than voluntary to maintain fairness and accountability among all participants. This commitment underscores our shared dedication to making a tangible difference through Team AIMS' charitable projects, including student development, women empowerment, community development, and disaster recovery efforts.
We understand that fundraising can be a challenge, which is why we're here to support you every step of the way. Here's what you need to know:
Minimum Fundraising Commitment: Each participating family, irrespective of the number of participants living at the same residence, is asked to raise a minimum of $500. This unified effort will significantly bolster our charitable initiatives, touching lives across the globe.
Why $500? This amount ensures that our collective contributions can make a substantial impact on the projects we hold dear. From building schools to empowering women entrepreneurs, your efforts will change lives.
Flexible Fulfillment: We encourage you to reach out to friends, family, and community members to support your fundraising efforts. Should there be a shortfall in meeting the $500 commitment by race day, participants will have the option to cover the remainder. This ensures that every step you take not only brings you closer to your personal fitness goals but also contributes to a global cause.
We're not just asking you to raise funds; we're inviting you to be ambassadors of change. To aid in your fundraising journey, we'll provide resources, tips, and personalized support to help you reach and even exceed your goal. Together, we can inspire and uplift communities around the world.
