Details

Check runners in and issue bibs, shirts, and any materials to be included in race packets. Normally two people greet runners, look up and provide bibs and call out shirt sizes to one or two people pulling shirts from the stacks.

Assist runners with navigation through online registration and ensure payment is made online or with cash. Provide race bib and a tag for a shirt after the race.

Water Stop/Cheer Station

Details

Fill and hand out cups of water. Help direct runners at the intersection by the water stop. Volunteers under 16 are allowed but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Call out bib numbers as individuals cross the finish line (so back-up timer can record them). Chase down and find bib numbers from runners who have their bib covered up or are wearing it on their backs.

Take pre and post-race photos as well as photos of runners from assigned locations on the race course. We'll provide memory cards so you can just give them back at the end of the event rather than trying to transfer files.
