Details

The race day packet and bib pickup volunteer will be responsible for passing out race bibs, apparel that was ordered, and timing tags and straps. For the majority of our events we will be using the race day check in app that can be downloaded with Android or Apple here:

When you open the app you will be able to do a simple search by typing in the race name. It will then prompt you for a password which will be included in the race email sent out by our volunteer coordinator the week of the event.

Details

The role of post-race volunteers will be responsible for CHEERING on our finishers while handing out any medals or rewards, collecting race chips and distributing food and water. Their jobs are to handle the events that take place after the race is completed and before the tear-down and clean-up phase.

Details

The course monitor at the Brewery 85 race series will be in charge of the only intersection not manned by our police staff. When you are traveling down Dairy Lane from Brewery 85 you will enter the confluence center which looks like a small industrial park. If you are driving down there please leave 15 minutes prior to the race start so you are not stuck behind the runners who have to take a small walk to the starting line on Dairy Lane. There is ample place to park on the side of the road down there. Now specifically for our 6 race series we have a 1 mile race, a 2 mile race, and 4 5k races. They vary in the direction they make that turn at the confluence center (left or right) please confirm with myself or our volunteer coordinator in regards but the course map should be updated on each race site to reflect. In regards to the 5k races they will have to run two laps of Confluence center so regardless of which direction they turn initially they will come by your intersection the first time and continue back around Confluence but on the 2nd go around they will turn back up Dairy Lane towards the finish.

Floater / tear down

As floater, your role is to simply help fill in small tasks as needed by the RD as the day goes on. Stay after the race to help with cleanup as needed.
