APTiming July 4th Road Race

Join us this July 4th for the APTiming July 4th 2020 Road Race! 

This is an out/back 5K race starting and finishing at Shelter #9 in Kanawha State Forest. 

Registration to race will be $15. If you would like a race shirt it is an extra $10 and you must be registered by June 21st to place that order. 

This race will consist of two different time slots to follow social distancing. You will be required to select a time slot that works best for you and you are responsible to race in that specific time. For example, if you are signed up to race at 7:30AM and you are late, you will not be allowed to race at 9:30AM. Each time slot is capped to accommodate size restrictions so we cannot make any exception to this rule.

Race #1 - 7:30AM to 8:30AM
(We have an hour between to clean. This also allows people to enter/exit the park while keeping our runners safe along the course)
Race #2 - 9:30AM to 10:30AM

We ask that you do not arrive until 30-45 minutes prior to your assigned start time. You will simply grab your bib to race before the event and you will get your shirt (if you order one) as you finish. There will be no post race refreshments and no post race awards ceremony. Awards will be mailed to the winners one week after the event.

If there is enough interest (please email us and let us know) we can add another time slot in the afternoon or evening. We have the shelter all day but since it is July we are aiming to do the races in the morning before the heat sets in.

Top 1 Male
Top 1 Female
Top 1 Male in the following ages:
1-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
Top 1 Female in the following ages:
1-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Please note there will be NO Race Day Registration! You must register online to participate and we highly anticipate the event to sell out.
