In Loving Memory of the Weims Who Walk Beside Us in Spirit
The Walk for Weims Memorial Wall is a tribute to the unforgettable gray ghosts who left paw prints on our hearts. Though they may no longer walk beside us, their love, loyalty, and spirit continue to inspire every step we take. We are honored to walk in their memory.
Mollie
Founding Weim, Walk for Weims
Before Walk for Weims was a nationwide movement, it was a dream inspired by one unforgettable Weimaraner.
Mollie, a proud member of the Willow 12 litter, was adopted through Weimaraner Rescue of the South and became more than a companion. She became an ambassador for the breed and the rescue community. Over the years, she participated in home visits, welcomed potential adopters, attended events, modeled in rescue calendars, and represented the very best of what it means to be a Grey Ghost.
Her steady presence, expressive eyes, and quiet loyalty helped shape the heart behind Walk for Weims. This event exists because of dogs like Mollie. The ones who remind us why rescue matters, why community matters, and why every Weim deserves a loving home.
As the Founding Weim of Walk for Weims, Mollie’s spirit walks at the front of the pack — always.
She is, and always will be, the heartbeat behind this walk.
