Parking

Where can I park for the event?

Parking is free on Saturdays in Port Orchard.  There is limited parking at the start. There is additional nearby street parking and a parking lot located next to Etta Turner Park at 1327 Bay Street, about .3 from the race start. This is called Westbay Center. Nostalgia House Bakery is located at this location if you're hungry for some coffee or donuts before or after the race.

There may also be parking available across the street from Westbay Center in the lot next to Kentucky Fried Chicken. Simply Irresistible Pets is located here.

Please do not park in front of shops that have limited time parking (usually 30 minutes). The shop owner may have your car towed while you are running!

VIP Parking/other parking

For those fortunate enough to get VIP Parking, you can arrive beginning at 6am. A volunteer will greet you and request the name of the person who purchased the parking spot. If you’re not on the list, you will not be permitted in the VIP parking area. VIP Parking includes one sanican inside the parking area as well as express check in. Your packet and bib will be located near the parking. DO NOT go to the regular day of race registration tables.

Lane Closure

Bay Street and Beach Drive will be down to ONE LANE on race day. The westbound/water side lane will be shut down from 7:30am – 2pm.

Avoid driving near One Stop Plaza downtown and Westbay Center between these hours. You should also avoid (and tell your friends and family who plan on spectating) these locations. There are back roads that drop you down onto Beach Drive for your cheerleaders. If you get in the back up on either end of the lane closure, you could get stuck for 15+ minutes waiting.

Time Limit/Paces

You must be able to complete your event distance within these time limits. If you think you will take longer than 6 hours for the marathon, we do offer an early start at 7am. Early starters are not eligible for age group awards (unless there are only 3 or less in that age group!).  We do not offer early starts for any other distance.

  • ·        Early Start Marathon                  7 hours                16:02
  • ·        Marathon & Marathon Relay      6 hours                13:44 pace
  • ·        5 hours Half Marathon               5 hours                22:54 pace
  • ·        10K                                            3 hours                28:58 per mile
