The Children's Goblin Costume Parade will take place on the path that circles the Stanley Quarter Park pond with all Goblins receiving treats as a rehearsal for Halloween later in the month. The first 150 children registered receive a commemorative event medal and Halloween treats. All registrants in the Run, Walks, or Children's Parade will be entered by bib number into a drawing for dozens of gift cards to local businesses. Those winners will be announced at the event's awards ceremony.
A Children's Activity Area will be provided by New Britain Parks and Recreation and will open at 9:15 a.m. offering activities and inflatables for kids to enjoy.
