Blackburn Chasing the Cure was founded in honor of Megan Blackburn’s mom, who is a breast cancer survivor and in memory of Megan’s aunt. Through their own family battle against cancer the Blackburns know how important it is for families to be 100% focused on their loved ones rather than worrying about bills or experiencing healthy food insecurity. Register to Run for Team Pink and the proceeds will be directed to patients and families to help cover bills, purchase healthy foods, and provide patient chemotherapy care kits for those beginning treatment.
